The importance of a well trained staff...
Dr. Mark Peters, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Mark H. Peters, MD - Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Peters recognizes that quality care is directly connected to staff education and training. “A significant component of our practice is staff development. We cannot give our patients the treatment they deserve if we are complacent. Our group is proactive in their commitment to staying current through continuing education. Active participation in local and national organizations related to our specialty is not only encouraged, it is expected. We all take pride in being the best at what we do.”

Human resources, marketing, facility issues and administrative needs are in Kayla’s hands. “It’s up to me to keep the office functioning efficiently and effectively.” Her broad job description demands a commitment to continuing education and participation in professional associations. “In medicine, nothing ever stands still. In order to guarantee our practice stays current, we must have the latest and newest information and technology for the benefit of both patients and staff. Yvette, LPN, Patient Coordinator
As patient coordinator, Yvette is the primary patient contact and clinical specialist. She meets with all new patients and makes sure they are informed and prepared for the procedure they are considering. Because her role is a blend of nursing and education, it is particularly critical that Yvette is highly trained in all aspects of plastic surgery. “Dr. Peters is a very big supporter of my continuing education—whether it involves nursing, marketing or patient relations. Patients have to be able to confide in me and feel they are getting the best care and latest techniques. If I am not constantly improving, I cannot deliver an exemplary patient experience.”
